Tracker ("the App") is developed by Alexandru Lazar-Serediuc ("we", "us", or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use the App.

1. Data We Collect

The App is designed with privacy at its core. We do not collect, transmit, or store any of your personal data on external servers. All data remains on your device.

The App stores the following information locally on your device:

• Hydration logs — the liquids you track, amounts, timestamps, and daily goals.
• Nutrient information — optional nutritional values you enter for each liquid (caffeine, calories, sodium, potassium, sugar).
• Preferences — your chosen measurement unit, reminder times, and feature settings.

2. Apple Health (HealthKit)

If you enable the Apple Health integration, the App writes the following data types to Apple Health:

• Dietary Water
• Dietary Caffeine
• Dietary Energy (calories)
• Dietary Sodium
• Dietary Potassium
• Dietary Sugar

The App does not read any data from Apple Health. Health data is shared only with your explicit permission and is governed by Apple's HealthKit policies. We never access, store, or share your HealthKit data outside of the standard system integration.

3. On-Device AI

The App offers optional AI-powered hydration insights using Apple Intelligence, which runs entirely on your device. Your hydration data is processed locally and is never sent to our servers or any third-party service.

4. Notifications

If you enable reminders, the App schedules local notifications on your device. We do not use push notification services and do not receive or store notification tokens.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

Subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect or have access to your payment information, Apple ID, or billing details. Subscription status is verified on your device using Apple's StoreKit framework.

6. Third-Party Services

The App does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking frameworks. We do not share your data with any third parties.

7. Data Storage and Security

All app data is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. Data may also be accessible to the App's home screen widget through a shared app group container. Your data is protected by your device's built-in security features, including encryption and biometric authentication.

8. Data Deletion

You can delete individual hydration logs within the App at any time. To delete all app data, you can uninstall the App from your device, which removes all locally stored data. HealthKit data can be managed separately through the Apple Health app.

9. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date.
